Arte Ocupa is a research group in urban poetics affiliated with the Visual Arts program at the Federal University of Uberlândia. With the goal of studying and artistically intervening in urban spaces, the collective needed an identity that would immediately draw attention to the city's everyday life, with colors representing urban daily life (particularly highlighting traffic). The main symbol—the flag—is the cherry on top of a proposal for occupation and questioning through creativity.
